ULIVA GIS

Project of development of the olive groves of the district to which collaborate several research institutes and companies including AIPO, Fondazione E. Mach, MPA Solutions as well as geologists, soil scientists and geomorphologists. Inspired by what was done by PICA for the vineyards, intends to concentrate on a telematic platform all the information of every single Estate Parcel planted with olive trees, as soil, pedo-morphological, microclimate and growing characteristics. All this in order to supply the correct indications for cultivation, irrigation, pest management, collection and fertilization. This unique tool can enhance the development of the olive oil farming in the Alto Garda, and supports more accurate selection of olives before the milling.
